By using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy set out below. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, you should not use the website.
This contract is with British Sky Broadcasting Limited. Where we refer to ‘we/us’ in these terms it means British Sky Broadcasting Limited of Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex TW7 5QD and ‘our’ shall be interpreted accordingly. ‘you’ means you, the user of the website and ‘your’ shall be interpreted accordingly. ‘Users’ means the users of the website collectively and/or individually as the context admits.

1. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree that any use by you of the website shall be in accordance with the following conditions:

You must only use the website with permission of your school. By registering your school on the website you warrant that you have this permission and you are acting in the course of your employment.
1.4 You will abide by the specific rules of any competition or promotion that you participate in on or via the website.
1.5 You will not do anything that affects the operability or security of the website or causes unreasonable inconvenience or offence or disruption to our staff.

2.1 You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the availability of any third party websites or material you access through the website.
2.2 We do not endorse and shall not be held responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or services on or available from such websites or material.
2.3 Any dealings between you and any third party advertisers or merchants found on or via the website, including payment for and delivery of products, services and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are made between you and the relevant advertiser or merchant. Therefore, we are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of any such dealings.

4.1 Material which is posted on any message or bulletin boards or chat forums is written by users and we are not responsible for and do not endorse such material. We reserve the right to monitor the contributions made and may respond to or comment upon communications made by you and edit, refuse to post, or remove any content from the bulletin boards and chat forums at our absolute discretion. No failure to remove particular material constitutes an endorsement or acceptance of it by us.
4.2 We will not be held responsible or liable for the content, accuracy, timing or reliability of any information or statements contained within the website, or for statements, advice and/or opinions made or given by users on the bulletin boards and chat forums (except as required by law). If you have any claim arising from the actions or statements of another user, you agree to pursue such a claim only against that user and not from us.

5. REGISTRATION

5.1 You must be a registered user to access certain parts of website. When you register you will be asked to provide a password. We would recommend that you do not use your real name or any part of it as your password for your own protection. We may ask you to change your password in our absolute discretion.
5.2 After registration, access to the restricted areas of the website will require you to enter your username (which may be your Sky Employee ID if you are a Sky employee) and password. Your password is secret and personal to you and must not be disclosed to any third party in any circumstances. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and confidential. You must take all precautions to prevent your details being used by anyone else to access the restricted areas.
5.3 If we reasonably believe that your login details are being used in any way which is not permitted or acceptable to us, we may cancel your account immediately without giving you any notice.
5.4 You may change your password at any time and should you become aware that a person knows your password you should change it immediately. You must not store your username or password on your computer and we would recommend that you do not keep it anywhere that is accessible by any other person.
5.5 When registering on the website you must provide us with accurate, true and correct information about you and, where applicable, you must keep this information up-to-date. By registering on the website you warrant that you have provided information that is true, accurate and correct.

6. INDEMNITY

If you are a business user, you agree to indemnify us, and/or any of our affiliates and our and their officers, directors and employees, immediately on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these terms and conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of the Sky site.

We may immediately terminate your use of the website (including your registration if applicable) if you breach, or we have reasonable grounds to believe that you are likely to breach these terms and conditions, or you otherwise engage in conduct which we determine in our sole discretion to be unacceptable.
